Nearly about to give up on one of my plants!
So, for those who remember, I picked up three succulents a while ago--well, it was actually four, two of them were together in one pot.

Most of them were really dehydrated when I picked them up, and some have managed to bounce back from it--but one is looking REALLY far gone.

Here are the original pictures from the day after we brought them home:

(Note: this is the plant where there were two put together)

Well, I have been trying to follow the advice on the forum. The plants recieved more sun and careful watering. I worked hard not to 'over' work them or over water them, while still trying to bring them back from dehydration. The health of the two plants in one pot started to become more obviously bad really fast--one of the plants thrived, the other one began to shrivel up more and more. Eventually I just decided to separate them, clearly something was not right. It's been a few days and I haven't seen improvement. Since day one this one plant has just been falling apart! At this point I don't know if I can save it. My grandma told me I might just have to rescue one of the baby plants or take a leaf to propogate and give up on the main body since it's this bad.

The white plant(eschevia?) has gotten weird. Since it has been getting more sun and water the leaves have started to jump all over the place. You'll see in the photos. It almost looks like it's not getting enough sun, but it sits outside in the sunlight daily, and for longer now since it isn't so boilingly hot outside anymore.

    The healthier plant

The rather sickly plant I don't know what to do about :(

The other one and it's weirdness(though it does look far healthier than it did)

Anyway, further advice would be very much appreciated! I'm still very new to this, so I don't want to make drastic changes before I can have someone either confirm what I suspect or tell me otherwise. Taking care of plants has been a lot of fun, I feel bad for how much my one little guy is falling apart. Do you think it can be saved? Or at least a cutting from it?

the Echeveria looks great. not sure why you are saying its looking wierd. thats the way they grow. just keep doing what your doing with that one.

the Haworthia doesn't look horrible. give it some time. if you repotted it recently it may need some time to bounce back. if it doesn't start turning around you can snag the babies off it and try and root any good leaves. its super simple. just pick them off and put them in soil. just remember to keep it in well draining soil and filtered sun.

Okay, that's good. My friends and family had been scaring me and telling me they looked awful! I've only ever seen baby escheveria plants, so I believed them when they said it looked like it must be over watered/not getting enough sun. The only succulent experience anyone I know in person have had were aloe plants.

I've been worried about the Haworthia because it hasn't shown any signs of ever getting better. In person it's much darker than the other plant, and doesn't have that inner green glow to it. Their texture even feels different, the sicker one feeling much harder and rougher, as if the entire leaves were solid rock almost.

But yeah, pretty much everyone around me is ridiculous about these guys! My mom is determined the escheveria must be sick since it looks different than it did. It leaves me very confused sometimes. I'm glad to know things aren't as bad as I keep getting told!

yeah there is nothing to worry about at this point. the Escheveria is near perfect other than the damage on the leaves that happened before you got it.

Awesome! That's good to know. I really, really like these plants. I never thought I'd enjoy taking care of a plant(probably since the ones I had as a kid all died!) but these are a lot of fun!

These four are my practice run.. If things keep going well, I'm hoping to eventually have a bunch more, like a little succulent garden!
