    Wet enclosure question
Ok, so tonight is feeding night and my pin snatched up his rat quickly. So quickly, in fact, that he spilled his water all over the place inside his tub (my fault really because I wasn't paying attention to where his butt was before I put the f/t in). My dilemma is he has eaten and I don't want to take him out to change his paper substrate. Will it be ok if it is wet for say 24 hours or do I really need to change his substrate ASAP? It's not a pool of water but the paper substrate is wet.

I would change it if I were you. Just carefully lift him out of the cage and change the paper. I do that all the time! No regurgitation at all. You don't want to end up with a sick snake with R.I.

It is fine to remove him to change out the paper.

Yea, I know that all of that can happen but I wasn't sure if it could happen in a 24 hour period...thanks for the replies.
