Help plz snakes might be sick!
I had 3 of my snakes die within 4 day they all had runny poop and died within 24hrs of them starting the runny poop they pooped multiple times that day and then I found them dead I've asked my friends who are also breeders and no one knows what it is I've asked 3 different vets and none have a clue what could it be?? I don't want to loose anything else the only thing that has changed is we moved into a new apartment after the first one died so I don't know what to do

Did you take a stool sample from the others to a vet?
Did you recently bring any new animals into the home?

im really sorry youve lost 3 of your buddys, and i have no idea what it could be, but if i were you i would put every snake in quarentine immediatly, and take them to the vet asap, dont just ask them about it, bring your snake to them, i wish i could help more, sorry and good luck to you and your friends

Damn, that's terrible. I'd have to assume kind of internal pathogen but the only thing you can do to find out for sure is go to a knowldgeable reptile vet and get necropsies done on the dead ones and fecal tests done on the live ones. Good luck, hope it works out and you don't lose any more. Sounds really bad.

+1, also, what about a necropsy? The vets and especially us will not be able to diagnose anything if you're only explaining it. Strictly quarantine any other animals you have in your house...

I'm planing on takein any stool samples to a vet ASAP I've put all animals into quarantine and disinfected everything I've had 2 out of 3 vets examine the dead and 15/58 live ones and they said it could have been something with the rats that where fed to them but i don't think so ive been getting rats from the same guy for over a year and never lost any other snake but I have to wait for stool from the live ones

Well so far none of the test have came back for anything this might be a stupid question and I should have asked it earlier would high chlorinated water effect them? The apartment I'm in nows water is highly chlorinated and would any kind of external perisite carry anything that would harm them I did find like 2-3 mites on the albino but that is the only one that seemed to have them

Well to update a little more all test came back negative on the live ones the vets believe the stress of the move might have been to much on the two and the other one that have no clue what happened to him
