My new baby..is she a picky eater?
So just made a thread on Sunday about my first ever Ball Python, a pretty little pastel girl.
2 days later I figured I'd give her a go at eating since she seems to be VERY tame when I have handled her (like she has known me for months at least!)
Stopped bye and got a rat pup on the way home from work. I dangled it infront of her nose for about 2 seconds and this is what I got:
An instant strike!

They are gonna produce a litter or two for me to freeze for my corn snakes. I literally spent less than 15 bucks for them and their set up. So even 1 litter from each female would mean that I "made money" as I wouldnt have had to spend $2 for pinkies/fuzzies at the reptile grocery store. :P

The breeder said that she had never had a mouse before...and I wasnt about to offer up Pimp, Hoe1, or Hoe2 to test the waters. (There's no real "turning back" if she decides she likes mice!)
But that live pup was taken in an instant. Took zero coaxing/pleading/praying/groveling/sacrificial offerings to get her to take it. *Whew* now I'm not as worried about how picky she is as an eater!
