    Hunting or nosing ?
Hiya well I have had my little one now for a couple of weeks and I'm soo happy that s/he has had 3 feeds with me an if all goes well it will be a forth tomorrow but anyway everynight s/he has the head out of the cave flat on the floor and sometimes goes from one side if his home to the other and a little drink. So how do we know if their hunting or just looking around as its hard for me to see the tounge if that has anything to do with it as you can't see in his blue rub clearly and if I go over s/he still sometimes shoots back into the cave. I think though when its just the head out lying on the floor there isn't any tounge flicker ( hope I make sense) . S/he is about 4 months old and I'm feeding a small mouse every 5 days and the bp ways about 116grams. So any info you can all give me on this I will appreciate it :)

One more thing it Farted the other night and all I'm saying is OMG lol.

Still no name either and I just can't think of anything cute.

It's probably hungry, a small mouse every 5 days for a 116 gram ball python is too small IMO. I say switch to rat fuzzies. Either way, being out at night is not abnormal so I wouldn't worry, but I'd still switch to rats as soon as you can. My 75 gram female pastel is pounding rat pups...which is bigger than fuzzies, but since you've been feeling very small meals I'd start with rat fuzzies and work your way up.

That was the plan to switch over was going to try in the next couple of feeds :) to be honest I'm trying to find out what I should be feeding as I'm all new to this with a bp. I kept to the mice for a bit just to keep the feeding going with it being so new :)
