What to get at Tinley Park for the biggest bang ofr the buck.
    Good morning everybody,

I am thinking about heading to the NARBC show in Tinley Park this weekend and am looking for ideas on a 2-3 gene female that will give me the biggest bang for the buck. My collection is male heavy so I was really thinking getting a female would make more sense.

    Here is my current collection

    Males:
    Het Pied
    Het Clown
    Spider
    Spotnose
    Pastel Het Pied
    Lesser
    Calico
    Enchi

    Females:
    Pinstripe
    Pastel
    Albino
    Yellowbelly
    Het Pied
    Het Clown
    Normal
    Caramel Albino
    Spider Het Pied

My budget is in the $1000-1200. I am not a fan of the dark morphs. Some of my inital thoughts were a spinner or lesserbee, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for any input you might have.

I would get a female and I love your ideas. Spinner blast even if you can find one for a good price.

Edit: read the first half, woops. Female it is :D

I was thinking spinner blast also, Jessica, but don't know if I will find a new one that I can afford.

I was also thinking a bee or maybe a killer bee?

Anything with Spider seems to look super cool :D. Maybe a KillerBee or Enchi Bee?

I think you might be able to find a spinner blast. Keep your eye out and don't settle for something small. A killer bee would be great too. I think you'll be able to find a triple gene for your budget, just look around. I think Brock Wagner will be there, make sure you check out his table :)

at the last Cincity show I saw a killerbee for 900 that was guessing probably at least 300-400 grams.

Are you looking for snakes to one day breed? Or just one really nice looking snake?

I am looking for something to one day breed.

Thanks for all the suggestions, the Fire/lemonback idea is something I will have to think about some more. Will have to figure out what morphs I could create with the fire/lemonback gene.......I am not very familiar with it.

    Keep the ideas coming.

    Jessica,

Have worked with Brock before? Do you have one/some of his snakes?

I will be sure to look him up.
