    Freezing rats
    Can you freeze rat pups together or would they stick together? Best to freeze them individually?

    I'm no expert on freezing rats, but when I get my shipments of frozen feeders in they are always frozen together (Sort of stacked, stomach to back).

    Are they stuck together? I dont want to have to pry rats apart like i do chicken lol.

    I place mine together side by side on a styro container, freeze for 1-2 hrs then vacuum seal.

    Their fur keeps them from really freezing together. They pry apart pretty easy.

    Just make sure that when you go to seal them into a bag that they are not still warm . Condensation inside the bag can cause them to stick together somewhat if put into the freezer like that.
