exo-terra diigtal thermo electric incubator

has anyone used this before? im looking to get some personal thoughts on it... i have a large fridge i was gonna convert to incubator but i dont really have enough room for it and i wont have that many clutches of eggs for a few years... whats your thoughts on it??????????

Too small for python eggs. Might hold one good clutch.

There was just a thread on that incubator. It is NOT too small for python eggs, however, it can only hold 3-4 clutches at a time. It has its quirks, but I love mine.

hummm ok thanks.. cause that is all i am expecting this season is MAYBE three or four tops... i just figured instead of a good 100 dollar digital thermostat for the ugly old freezer use that this year and try and find a nice glass door fridge like monster or rockstar and make a bigger one outta that next season...

Ill probably do the same thing eventually. Right now my clutches are spaced out enough that it works fine for me.

If youre handy enough to make your own, thats a great option too. If not, I really do like this incubator.

yea i was making one, just really dont have the space for the fridge i was using... maybe if i came across a mini fridge.. but then a good digital thermostat will cost ya alone the same price as this setup so i figured if itll work go this route now...

I wouldn't waste my time with them honestly, I would either build one or buy one from Nature Spirits or Animal Plastics.

3-4 clutches is Small. Especially if their small 4-6 egg clutches.

Lets see it hold 4 clutches at 8-10 eggs each. Cause thats what i normally get per female.

Its not worth it, save the 100 and build one with a reliable thermostat.

please don't get it.. built in thermostat doesn't even work... I have it and i hate it. You can hold 1 clutch of bp eggs, to get the thermostat right, you have to set it almost 5 degrees more than what ever degree you desire. I just use it for leopard gecko and corn snake eggs since they can fluctuate a lot more.
