Is it ok to feed rats that have been 3 days in the fridge?
Long story short: due to various family reasons I had to go to my house on Wednesday (I keep my BP on my apartment) and usually I feed her on fridays, but I fell insanely sick, and couldn't make it to my apartment until today. The thing is that I asked my roommate to take a rat pup from the freezer and put it in the fridge on friday morning (thinking I would get there Friday).

The question is: Is it ok to feed rat pups that have been 3 days in the fridge (this would be their first thawing)?

PS: I just weighed Volvagia and she is 111g :D not bad for a july hatchling, right?

It wasn't on purpose, I was very sick and couldn't make it

Perishable food is safe to eat for 7 days if kept at 41 F and 5 days at 45 F. No problem keeping a rat in fridge for 3...

Hehe, we have two mid June hatchlings (0.1 normal, 0.1 spider) and they are 293g and 308g respectively. :D

Should have been fine, but better safe than sorry I suppose.

    Wow... I thought 111g was good :(

I threw it out because I overheated it, and it 'exploded' lol

Indeed, I've never had one explode.
