A Ball that doesn't hide?
So I have had my little spider a few days now. Unlike Crawly who seems content to hide all day she is never in her hides, literally, never. I don't think I have seen her go in them once. I have seen her on the branch in her viv and curled up toward the front, but never hidden. Is this odd behavior for her to be out in the open so much?

My Pied girl wandered her new enclosure for 3-4 days with out hiding at all. I was worried till day 5-6 now she is hiding and such so may be a little stress from the new digs. Especially if you have only had her a couple days. I would still check temps etc but seems like the little guys take a week or so to settle down.:P

It's rare to have one that doesn't like to hide as stated a few times above. I wouldn't worry about it too much like snake lab said. It's the new snakes gitters more than anything, I'd guess. I have the feeling something is wrong sometimes when I get a new animal, haha. I just wait it out for a bit and I haven't had a problem yet.
Spiders have odd personalities anyways, that's why I like them so much. Enjoy your new one!
Re: A Ball that doesn't hide?
mines kinda wierd, he likes to sit on his hides or his branch during the day, then he always goes in the hides at night:rolleye2:. try moving the hides to one of the spots it seems to be curling up at, it may just like the temp more at that one spot
