i just got my new earings, woot woot!

theyre nothing special, just a 00g taper, a 7/16 taper with pair of steel double flare eyelets, and a 1/2 taper with a pair of steel single flair eyelets. but im really excited cause this means i dont have to have buttholes for ear-lobes:D

Got my cartilege pierced the other day for the first time as well - now I've got all those earrings to think about too....but have to wait a few months before I can mess with it :-(

nice! i used to be really addicted to stretching, i was at 1", and its weird cause its painful, but at the same time its like the best feeling in the world that i cant get enough of lol, how was the cartilage? ive heard its pretty painful

yeah it smarted a bit. it only hurts now if I touch it.
It's not that it hurts a lot more than lobes (I had a couple of lobe piercings done at the same time as the helix) but somehow it's a more *wrong* kind of pain where your brain just goes 'whoa!'
It's gonna suck sleeping on only one side for 3 months, but hopefully it will heal up nice and I can start all over again with the other side.

I know what you mean about stretching being kind of addictive. I am stopping for sure at 2g though because of my job. One more stretch to go and I'm done.

I came into this thread expecting to see some leopard geckos or snakes attached to the earlobes. I am kind of disappointed! :P

lol, nope no animals in my ears, although when i had my kingsnake i would put him around my neck and he would always crawl through my earings, they were ALOT bigger then though.

i just got out of the shower and put in my 00g and it went right in, no pain, but a little pressure, so im gonna leave it in for an hour or so before i put the next size in there:D im so frickin excited, maybe i'll get some pics, who knows...
