    Babies dying
    I had a littler the other day of 8 and two stil borns. The last two days i have lost 3 more and am down to 5 pinks..

    The mom is not eating them they arejust dead. Look uninjured but definitly not breathing. Any ideas. First little for these girls.

    Are the bodies still in the nest?

    Some mothers just don't lactate enough, and end up suffocating the babies even though they're trying their best to nurse them. I've found that mothers who do this once, will often do it again, and should be replaced.

    No i removed them. But they were just off to the side. Like she knew they were gone so they were moved but not damaged

    This is normal for a first time mom... I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again in future with that mom.

    Sounds good. Im not too worried about it. I think the other 3 moms r gonna pop soon. And my other breeder tubs should be going soon.
