what does it mean when my female bp points her tail upwards and starts to wagg or shake it back and forth? Is this the way female bps present themselves to a male bp? her hole even opens up...sorry i dont know the correct terminology

This is normally done when females scent the area to let the male know she's ready to breed.
Once she quits doing this and settles down the male will try to mount her if she's ready and willing or he'll try to pursued her by tickling her with his spurs or some will flat out try to hold the female down and force her.

i know this may be off but my female does something similar right before she deficates as well. She tends to like crapping on the sides of her enclosure versus anywhere in the middle of it. not sure why but she does. just thought id put this in. thanks

lol, yes snakes raise their tails to poo and pee :P
I have never seen a gravid female wag her tail and scent up a tub, it's pretty much a done deal when they are gravid, she would have no reason at that point to be trying to attract a mate.

This means she is trying to get his attention and letting him know that she wants to breed;). Good signs!
