    Feeding Day!
Today is feeding day. I hadn't expected to be feeding till this evening, however, when I went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water I realized Crawly was out and exploring. I hadn't thawed the fuzzy yet, so I went ahead and took one out, its now sitting on the counter beside his viv. Should I put it in warm water right now since he's out to speed up the thawing process? I hadn't expected him to be ready this early, usually he is all snuggled up in his hide.

I would just wait until later. What you are unintentionally doing right now is scenting the room. If you wait until dusk you should get a great feeding response. :D

First feeding was a total success! I thought at first he wasn't going to take it. He turned away from the fuzzy and seemed to want nothing to do with it. I kept on with the death dance, wiggling it around with the tongs and he turned around, set up and struck. He's currently constricting it to death (even if its already dead, I didn't have the heart to tell him!). I am very excited. :D

Thank you! Scared me when he struck, I thought for sure he was gonna drop it when I jumped a little, but he coiled right around. Here's photographic evidence! lol

Congrats, I always shake the rodents several times, it makes them constrict more.

Well he was definitely not gonna let go lol. He constricted for about twenty minutes, then ate it, and hasn't shown any sign of regurging. I think that the fuzzies might be a little small though. Since the spider I just picked up is on rat pups, I might try and step Crawly up to those. I still have 5 fuzzies though, should I just feed him more frequently? He's on a week rotation right now.

If I have a smaller ball feeding on fuzzies/hoppers I will feed them every 3-4 days until they reach at least 100g and start taking rat pups. Once they are on pups I will feed every 5-7 days. Some might disagree with me on this, but it's been working for me so far.
