Burms are slow, lazy, easy, docile.. especially as adults

Now I know there's plenty of videos of cold burms out there draped over some model's shoulders and they look completely placid, and even some of those feeding videos make 'em look slow except for striking, but BHB finally got a vid up showing what handling these guys can be like if they have a bit of motivation and have had access to heat.

I just get a little :rolleyes: when people typically categorize burms and retics as polar opposite in activity, and tend to underestimate the potential for burms.

I'm planing visit BHB this year... and as I've never handled nothing bigger that Ball Python... I'll stay frack away from "Satan"...
But I plan meet "Sunshine" :D :gj::gj::gj:

Haha. Off-topic but the first thing I noticed and wondered was why does George have a shirt on?!

after a playdate with satan they whip out the wiji board...epic!
(i know i spelled wiji wrong. that's always been a hard one for me.)

but also notice how there jumping around the burm. When your working with something that large that has a temper it does not help to jump around it like that. There nervous and with all there jumping there making the snake more nervous. You have to be slow calm and controlled when your dealing with a large one that has a temper. There usually not very bad if you go slow. You cant make a snake that size do you what you want it do you have to trick it into doing what you want it to do like putting it back in its cage or getting it out. If you see the other videos with brian handling her alone he goes very slow and once shes out shes fine. The snake is not a bad snake she just gets nervous when everyone is jumping around her.

what? you dont want to hold "satan"? just put her around your neck, she'll be fine... lol

That's crazy.. that's definitely an exception to all of the burms i've handled in my years. I bet that bite could do some damage.

Ha I noticed that as well! The one episode he has one on. Lol. I will be visiting brian soon also. Just talked to him the other day about it, pretty excited. :)
