    What the heck kinda substrate is this?
    I came across this photo looking for pics of firefly bps. What is this stuff? Is it a good acceptable substrate? (It's so pretty...:oops:)

    It looks like aquarium rocks, lol. Not acceptable I'd say. (Not sure if first post was a joke or not, haha).

    Definitely looks like aquarium rock. I had a fish tank with the exact color a couple years back.

    Yeah, it does look like aquarium rocks! Weird, I've never seen someone use that for snakes. It's a breeder website, though, so I assume they know more about bps than I do...

    I was serious about the prettiness. I like colors. :rolleyes:

    I use paper towels, which I love for the ease and that it's good for Jackson, but it's so yuck to look at. I care more about Jacksons health than I do about looks, but I do care about looks- so I want something that is more aesthetically pleasing. I thought maybe it was something magical that I didn't know about yet. I am so dissapointed...

    Thats aquarium gravel and it is in no way acceptable as a substrate.
