    Desert Spiders?
Howdy people! So after looking around I found that I really love the desert spiders, think the coloring is gorgeous. So what do y'all think is the best way to build a breeding program for them? What snakes should I begin with?

As little as possible? lol. I will probably start with babies and let them grow, take my time. Someone had said in another post under the picture section that it was a desert and a bee?

desert gene + spider gene = desert spider
desert gene + bumble bee (spider gene + pastel gene) = desert bumblebee

a male desert will run you about $2500

I think a desert spider is about $4000-5000

There is a breeder in town who has a female spider, just born this year, for $175. Is that a decent price? I know above people mentioned prices on the desert, but nobody mentioned the spider pricing. I tried to look up spider prices but keep coming across only adult animals in the $800 range.

As long as it is healthy, a good eater (on rats), and a good looking Spider that is a very fair price, a little below the typical online market price (usually you can get a good deal from a local breeder or show since they don't have to pay to ship).

I am waiting for a response on how she's been eating and waiting for a picture as well. Thank you for all your help so far, Adam, you've been really nice! I know I am flying a little blind lol. A spider would be one step closer to what I wanted to begin with... maybe I'll get the cinny and a spider to work toward the cinna bees lol.

Though if I get a baby spider girl, I may be better off buying a baby boy too, since I have to wait for the girl to age anyway. :D

Okay so she has been eating consistently, on rat pups right now. This is her...
