agreed, good ventilation, maybe spray a little bit of fabreez on the floor, but spray it close to the floor so it doesnt get in the cages

Try some baking soda in with the shavings, and some ventalation. Or try getting some ASFS. They still smell, but not like mice. I got rid of all of my mice, couldn't stand the smell.

A good high CFM centrifugal or similar type fan would give much better ventilation and not sacrifice room temperature.
Edit: You might need to make a cheap noise reduction box to cover the fan though. Or just go with a carbon filter and don't vent to the outside

imitation vanilla does work wonders, are you not using enough? I have been breeding mice for 2 years and i literally make the water dark brown with it and it works awesome, i also see no difference in breeding

Dont use baking soda as it will be transferred to the snakes. Imitation Vanilla may work one one or 2 mice, but get a lot and adding to water systems will just be a bacteria nightmare.

Use Pine Pellets and change often. 3 times a day i open window and vent it out for 10 mins at time. Cant go too long as snakes are in same room and dont want it to cool too much.
