    Mice are not breeding?
    Set up my colony about a month ago and still no babies. Can anyone give me any tips on this. I have a 1.3 ratio with water and food and Aspen bedding.

    Did you buy adults?

    They could be too old or there could be a sterility issue.

    Buy a new male put him with the females if it doesn't do the trick feed everyone off start from scratch again, it can take time to get started especially with mice.

    I hear that mice stop producing if it gets too cold (don't quote me on that). What temps are the room that you keep them in?

    I actually Have them outside with a beat lamp so it shouldn't get that cold they're in the laundry room so it shouldn't get that cold.

    chuck the male and get a new one. just to be safe you can but a juvenile female just to make sure that the females arent too old too throw it in the mix wait a month and see what happens.
