    Sprint Users getting shaffted
Any sprint users read about the upgrade program leaving. All this just in time for iphone to come to sprint, which in time will have limited bandwidth and data cap like att,and Verizon has done.

My service is already crap in my area with minimal 3g and no 4g EVER coming to this area. So what am i paying $10 extra a month for to have calls, texts never go though.

Now i gotta figure out how to unlock my EVO 3D and keep my number to use on another network.

This will only affect those who are a premier or gold member.

Strange we have 2 EVO's and will be renewing in the next few months. We have unlimited plans and our renewal value is $150 per phone. Not bad, not a free phone....but not bad. i haven't heard of any usage caps coming to Sprint. There is no mention of one in my contract.

Sprint is not going to due away with upgrades or cap your data usage...I don't know where you heard this from but it's been 6 months and these changes have not been implemented or even planned....I have and upgrade in June 2013 so yeah they still do upgrades!!

They did away with the premier and gold customer status stuff. Used to be if you had one of those you got an upgrade every 12 months on one line and half off the price of a new phone on other lines at the year mark. Now it is every 21 months for any/all lines. I've been with sprint for approx 7 years and while the service continues to improve its still not great. Also where I live has no 4g and no plans for it in the near future. With the extra waiting time on upgrades and and higher cost of purchasing an upgrade I am looking into a no contract phone. There are a lot of additional charges like the $10 a month for smart phones, insurance went up to $11 a month, and replacement is usually $150 on any phone less than a year on the market. I feel I'd be better off in the long run just to go with something like straight talk and buy a new phone every year by the time you pay those extras to sprint. That's my .02 any how
