    Tub feeding Vs Enclosure feeding....?
Just Curious who feeds outside there BPs enclosure and who feeds inside the enclosure.

I feed outside the enclosure in a nice size tote. Ive been feeding like this because I read that your snake will think its being fed every time you go to handle it if feeding inside the tank, making the snake more aggressive. Also I really don't wanna chance impaction...

Since I'm Still learning about BPs Id like to see a cpl responses of why you feed out of the enclosure or why you feed inside it. :gj:

I feed all my animals inside their enclosures. The advantages of this are that it causes less stress to the snake around feeding time, they readily take the food, and it's convenient. I don't believe that this makes snakes more aggressive. Also, if you have a larger collection, feeding in a separate container is much more time consuming.

I feed all my snakes inside the enclosure, never had any issues with cage aggression (except with my boa, but she's pretty well always aggressive and bitey, so I don't think that counts) and all that jazz. Personally I don't have any use for the extra hassle of removing the snake from the enclosure, so they just get fed in there. I handle them regularly, and have no problems.

I fed outside of the enclosure for three years, but now I feed inside the enclosure. No change in aggression/feeding behavior outside of feeding time. Snakes eat a lot better now too!

I feed inside as well. I used to use a separate tub and if done properly it can be low stress, but feeding inside their tub is so much less stress and much more convenient. I think everyone here will agree with me that feeding in their enclosure is best

There is no reason to feed outside enclosure with ball pythons, if you monitor feedings you don't risk impaction with anything either. They are known to be picky eaters often times so feeding in enclosure is a lot better. They also rarely develop cage aggression.

Feed outside enclosure, just my preference. Never had a problem with not eatting, unless she's going into shed.

It's impossible imo to do it outside of enclosure if you keep a lot of snakes, but for those with only a couple it's no big deal.

Yeah it's a huge myth, at least when it comes to balls. They're shy by nature, not aggressive. Feeding outside only causes undo stress and if anything you'll have more of a problem getting them to eat outside their enclosure.

why you would remove a bp from its enclosure to feed it is beyond me. I will only feed in the tubs
