"I thought I was faster than the snake"

My boyfriend cracks me up. I'm at work, he's at my apartment and he decides he wants to take out his male orange ghost. He has officially settled in and ate once for me, so I've given my boyfriend the go ahead to handle him in small increments. I've warned him to use the snake hook with him, because he's the only one that's given me an attitude and hasn't calmed down at all. All I do is tap him on the head, and if he's still defensive I just lightly hold his head down while I pick him up by the tail. Once I let go of his head he starts striking like crazy lol. He's such a little turd.

So my boyfriend just calls me and says "I got bit!". Keep in mind, he got bit not even a week ago by my boa because I had to clean his tub before feeding him, and handed him over to my boyfriend, where he proceeded to show his disapproval of being out of the tub at the time.

I asked who bit him, and he said "Mark!" (Mark Snakechize....ugh). I asked if he used the snake hook and he of course replied "no!".....

Well....why not? You know he's being difficult...

"Because I thought I was faster than the snake....":rofl::rofl:

It apparently hurts more than the boa bite, I wish he had taken a picture so I could show everyone the damage. Mark...is about 300 grams...if that

Like, I don't know what the problem is. "I thought I was faster then the snake" is a legitimate excuse.

I was just thinking the other day, that I wished my hatchling had an attitude, but she's just a scaredy snake.

Either way, at least let your bf know that he provides some great comic relief for these forums.

yeah, i thought i was faster than my scrub once.. turns out i was wrong lol. it also turns out that she was ALOT stronger than she looked, she coiled my arm and it took me ten minutes to get her off, and when i did my hand was bright red lol. and thats how i learned not to try to tame a 10ft snake when your home alone:D

All men are faster than the snakes, we collectively suffer from errors of judgement. (am holding my hand with the 20 or so small holes under the table so no one will see it... )
