    What kind of ball python do I have??
    Just bought this ball python from a friend, they said it was a matrix pastel, I have never heard of that before, can anyone tell me what it really is???

    Looks like a browned out pastel...has a cool pattern though :)

    And I like the stripe at the end of the tail!

    Matrix may refer to a certain lineage, such as lemon, VPI, etc.

    Matrix Pastels are more commonly called "Blonde" Pastels. Congrats on your new addition. :gj:

    I have never heard of a Matrix Pastel but it looks like a browned out Pastel! It definitely is on the skinny side! After a few good meals, it will plump up! Congrats!
