question about glass tank and ambient temps
so i currently have my hatchlings in aquariums that have a UTH with a thermostat that provides a hot spot of 92 degrees 24/7

my ambient room temp durring the day is 83-86 degrees so that is what it is on the cool side, and at night my ambient room temp goes down to 80 degrees so that is what the cool side temp is at night.(i have a screen lid so the ambient temp in my room is the same as in the tank)

so my question is, Is my ambient temp going to get my snakes sick adventually cause from my understanding their warmside ambient temp needs to be between 85-88 degrees and their coldsides need to be 80-84 degrees

and input is much appreciated i just dont want my snakes to get sick cause of something im doing wrong that can be corrected so easily as turning up my room heater

It's not going to make the snake sick. But if your ambient room temperature is 86 during the day that's a little high. I try to aim for an ambient temp of 80 with the hot spot of 92.

86 is alright for a coolside. I don't think it's high at all. As long as the snakes have the two different sides and the hotside temps maintained correctly they'll be just fine.

ok but what im worried about is my ambient temp on my warmside at night never being in the mid to high 80s, but they always have a hotspot of 90-92 degrees. im probably just paranoid but i want to make sure they are in the correct enviroment

Do you have a hide over the hotspot? That will keep the ambient warmer on the hot side.
