    Popped... Brown liquid
    I popped a big female today cause she had a small amount of substrate on her vent... A very smelly brown liquid came out... Any ideas?

    Sounds like you got a bit of musk lol!

    It would be unusual if you popped and didn't get some pee or musk come out. Even poo if they are really unhappy with it. ;)

    *edit.. While BPs aren't technically a musking snake, any snake can let some uckys go if you mess with that area.

    Lol. K let me rephrase... It wasnt anything ive seen before. I get the urates and feces..Thats typical. But this wasnt it.. And it came from by the spurs.. or where hemipenes would be on a male..

    I use coco husk and have been pairing so worried it was possible infection due to getting substrate in there.

    Ps glad i could make some of your guys nights. Haha

    I've seen that before. It's just a bit o poo built up right around the vent area. When you pop it comes out. It's just some left overs for you. 
