Got pippers... and great odds!
I came home from work tonight to find a pipping baby - right on cue as tomorrow is day 55, and I incubated at almost 90 the whole time. I had a feeling that one would pip first, because he's in the "pancake" (flat) egg, and was seriously low on space. He was ready to get the heck outta dodge, LOL.
I went ahead and cut the whole clutch, and it looks like my odds are MUCH better this year... last year I had 1 mojave & 5 normals in a clutch, and this one appears to be 1 normal & 4 mojaves. Woot! :) There's one I'm still on the fence about, but probably a mojo that's just slightly darker than the others. They all look very healthy, and nicely light-colored as expected from these parents. Here are a few teaser pics, and I'll post more when they start to emerge:
The pancake egg, and only definite normal...

The boobie egg, a mojave (right?) who's very much alive but small.

Not sure about this one - light normal or darker mojo?

Now THAT'S a mojo! ;) Also has the dad's heart pattern... coolio.

Well, I'm jealous of you for TWO reasons... you're going to a reptile show this weekend, and you have het pieds & het hypos. :P
Alright, now for the hard part - waiting for them to come all the way out!!
