    Do we need a UTH?
Me and my daughter have set up a new tank . Left side 60 watt ceramic heater with a tstat . It set for 90 . It's all good here . Humidity 60 . We are going to the Evansville Indiana reptile show this weekend . We are planing to get bp. I read here about UTH some recommend , some don't . Not sure what to do here .
    Any recommendation ?
    Thank you

Yes, UTH is important for belly heat which helps digestion. The best ones I found so far are from Reptile Basics called an Ultratherm.

belly heat a must in my book - light not important to snake - read several husbandry sheets - plenty of info on this forum in the "sticky section"

    I'd get the 6 x 11 for that enclosure.

X2 on the UTH and belly heat our little guys is doing so much better with the UTH on a Tstat. Heat buld is good for keeping the ambient temp up but UTH is the best way to go IMOP:D
