    I've Been Had!
I'm really starting to rethink naming my dog after a famous trickster.

This morning I got home from work with a new box of dog biscuits (his old ones went bad and had to be thrown out) and two breakfast burritos for myself. So I could eat my breakfast/dinner in peace, I gave Loki one of the biscuits. He took it outside, was gone for a minute (I assumed to eat the biscuit), and came back in, giving me pitiful 'I'm still hungry' looks. So, when I was done, I gave him the rest of what I didn't eat, plus another biscuit for being patient. He left the biscuit there, ate the burrito (it was bacon, egg, and cheese, with no spices or anything), and then went outside and brought back in the other biscuit to enjoy with the second one.

Little turd, hiding it and pretending he ate it and it wasn't enough just to score some of my breakfast and an extra biscuit!

That, or I'm just a big sucker for his puppy dog eyes.

My poodle-mix will cheek biscuits to get more so she can go eat a pile of them. She knows if she goes and eats the first one, by the time she comes back, the box will be put away.
