For anyone who caught or will catch the newest episode, what did everyone else think about the cornsnake eating update?

I would have guessed that the smaller size prey more often would be bigger.
How much bigger would one that is feed weekly with vitamins be?

Yeh i watched that... I wished they had gone one step further and had a large food item plus vitamins. Would of been interesting. There was definitly an unarguable difference in growth though.. Its an interesting thought..

    Is the growth purely size?
Have the internal organs grown at the same rate as the body size?
Has the growth been healthy for the snakes?
Does it speed body maturity or are they all the same age physically? Ie sexual maturity.

it was surprising to me as well, i for sure thought the 2 medium meals/week would have been bigger, definitely going to change the way i feed some of my hold backs. as for vitamins, im not sure how i feel about that, i haven't seen enough info about the specific nutrients the species need, hence i feel a little nervous giving snakes any supplements.

It was interesting but remember he is a big time breeder and getting weigh on fast is important the other question is rapid weigh gain healthy in the long term? I don't know It is very interesting.

Very surprising. My bets were on the snake that got fed smalled prey items more often. As it turns out, that one was the smallest.

^^^ I thought this would be the case as well. vitamins were a big shock also, did not think that was going to make a big difference.

Health wise I would assume that the organs grew proportionally with the body.
As far as breeding goes, I would love to hear from someone who knows if it's the age and weight or just the weight! Im guessing age has a lot to do with it.
