    New Manx Project
Recessive Hairless male X Russian Blue Baldie Manx standard coat with blaze female.

The holdovers we get from them will carry Russian Blue, Siamese, Manx, Hairless and red eye recessive and who knows what else :P

    Beautiful, beeeaauuutiful rats!
I'm just getting involved with manx (I only have one male Manx), so I can't say this based off of experience....but I've always heard that female Manx are either sterile or that if they do get pregnant, they have difficulties giving birth. Have you ever witnessed this?
Please, keep this thread updated! I'm very interested in this! I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the Manx.

I have no idea, if you know of any links to actual deliveries involving manx females I'd sure like to read.
This girl appears to be about 15-18 days pregnant so it won't be too long.

We make quite a few baldies in blue and agouti but to have a blue baldie be a manx was a nice surprise.

I wish I could find any links about actual deliveries with the Manx females :(
I did find a couple sites saying that as long as it's a good line of Manx, the females can get pregnant and have babies no problem though.
Can't wait to see what they produce! Now you just have to get some dwarf in with that mix! ;)

She came from a dwarf breeding, her dad is no longer with us although they did breed together at one point so I'm not sure what will come from this litter
After this pairing if it is successful she will be bred with a different dwarf that we hope is a dwarf gene carrier.
I can't wait to choose hold backs for further breeding, the amount of recessive genes in them will be :rolleye2:

Jerry...WHAT THE HECK? Why do you rock so hard core? Haha.

It goes without saying that you breed some of the nicest rats I have seen. I hope you have a large litter and do end up breeding with the dwarf. Congratulations. :)
