    im located in south carolina and what I did was put an add on craigslist under the garden or farming section looking for a meat rabbit breeders. You can usually find them on there that will sell them to you alive or dead for a dollar a pound.

    Ok thanks guys Im planning in buying a house soon and I'll be raiseing my own rabbits which if I start stock pilling some frozen after awhile I might be able to help people out also but that will be next year sometime does any one know anyone in Nc that builds big cages as well?

    There's a guy in Charlotte that sells rats and mice. His name is Russell, check out carolinaraodents.com. He has some jumbos. This summer he's been low on supply because of some die off from the heat, but he's catching up with demand now.
