New pickups from auction...

I got off early from work yesterday and decided to stop by the Mt. Hope exotic animal auction since I had a few hours to kill before my wife got off work. I ended up with 36 unsexed lesser hissing cockroaches for spider and frog food. Paid $0.10 a head for them, ya can't beat that. Cheaper than crickets and with a little luck they will breed for me.

I also felt the need to bid on 5 female Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Got them for $1 a piece. Oh yeah, my wife is not thrilled right now. She is absolutely horrified by them! I think yall are the only ones who can understand my obsession/fascination. Everyone else on the planet thinks I'm not all here.

Oou, nice pickups! Roaches are very cool. My childhood best friend had a few hissing cockroaches, and I thought they were the coolest thing! Haha. Congrats on the new additions :gj:

My teacher had some and the people in my class were either grossed out or freaked out. I thought they were neat lol

my sister had one Madagascar Hissing Cockroach like 10 years ago... that thing was awesome :P

I am surprised she is not more upset bout not being able to go bud. Or was it you the one that was trying to get off work? I thought it was her.. Either way, nice find. Never been to Mt. Hope but hear it is cool.
