Do some lines of Pastel get darker over time???

This is My female( Was sold to me as a pastel and she looked like a really good with lots of yellow but she has started to get a little darker with each shed in tha last two months or so now she dont look so much like a pastel.....)

This My male 100% Het. VPI axanthic (he kinda looks like he could be a pastel too but he did tha same as my female and started to get darker after his sheds)

Dont know if this is norm for sum lines pastels or if she even is a pastel but they have been locking up alot so i guess i will see if she produces any viable eggs and c what there babies turn out to look like......

The pastel definitely looks pastel to me. Pastels do tend to "brown out" as they age; especially pastels that have a lot of orange coloration as hatchlings. The orange tends to turn brown, but that really high blushing and light head color are dead giveaways for pastel...
If you're still worried that she isn't a pastel, check the belly scales and the eyes. Pastels should have a clear white belly and green to blue-green eyes...
Everything mentioned above is spot on. These days it's incredibly hard to find a pastel that doesn't brown out at least a little.
