    New Feeding Schedule
So, last time I was here, I was recommended to up my snake's feeding habits since I'm still on mice(yeah, I know I should be feeding small rats for the increased nutrients) - I don't want to repeat myself, but I have a fricken' punch card to use up.

Currently, I feed him a large mouse(Hopper or crawler) on Sunday and another on Wednesday(A bit smaller than the Sunday feeding). To reiterate, since I doubt people are going to read the last topic I made:

My male BP is a little over 3 months old(born May 30th). The widest part of his body is about 1&1/4-1/2 inches when not full. He's about 21-23 inches. I don't know how much he weighs since I lack a sensitive scale. Note that these are all close estimates. He's perfectly hydrated, sheds normally, doesn't refuse food, etc.

Now, onto the questions. Firstly, I want to know if this sounds alright until I go on rats. I've got 12-14 punches to use up, so it'll be about 6-7 weeks without rats at this rate. Second, since I'm now feeding him more often, what digestion problems should I be on the lookout for? i.e., bowel compacting.

    Thanks in advance.

Hoppers and crawlers are both small mice. If I was stuck on mice because you have the punch card I would feed him an adult mouse every 5 to 7 days if I understand his size correctly. I fed my snake on large mice until she was about 400 grams then switched her to rats.

Indeed, move to adult mice until you use up your punches, then move to rats.

I thought I was feeding him adult mice? I feel I need to be reeducated on the sizes. :/

It's actually contradictory. You say large mouse but then say hopper or crawler, which neither of if a large mouse.

I actually feed my 3~ month old 2 small mice (just beyong hopper) at a time because all the available here is those and small rats.

check out the size chart on the mice, all the way from newborn to adult. Anyway thought it may be interesting to see them side by side.

Thanks. I've only heard them referred to as pinkie, fuzzy, crawler, and hopper. I didn't know there were so many sizes retailed.

Now that I know, it's safe to say I'm feeding adult mice twice a week.
My apologies for the confusion, I was misinformed.
