Adam's flea and tick for mite control?

I think I've heard of people on here using Adam's flea and tick powder on bedding to prevent mites. Is this safe?

I don't know if it's safe or not, but personally, I hate all powders. They are just too messy.

I use Hot Shot Bedbug and Flea spray, permitherin, same as in PAM... Spray the lip of the tubs every time I clean. No mites.

Would PAM be safe to use on rodent bedding?

Yup, but it's too expensive in my opinion. A gallon of Hot shot is $10, and it's half the doseage of PAM. Win/win.

I do use PAM on my reptile enclosures tho.

It's half the doseage of PAM, so it's already pretty safe. I've been using it weekly for a couple of years. I can't say for certain that it doesn't kill a pup every now and then, as I do get an occasional death, but like I said, I've been using it forever..
And, I don't spray it on the rodents, just on the tubs, so it's safe to feed the rodents to your reptiles as well.

Do your rodents come in contact with it? I would be spraying the bedding, so that is what I'd worry about the most.

Yeah, they can come in contact with it, but not much, it dries fast.
Why spray the bedding? Why not just spray the tub? Makes a ring around the cage to keep them out.

Well when they're already in, I can't exactly keep them out. :P

My mites are almost gone. I mean, the full count might be a whole 100 mites left at this point, and I just don't want to give them anywhere to hide. . . :)
