So my wife ordered my a Beautiful pied girl as an early christmas present and wellnow I am worried about fedding changing to F/T and my husbandry hehe. This is prolly normal pre adition gitters but heck it never hurts to ask. SO should I just try F/T or start iwth prekilled first? second while in QT should I use paper towels or just start on Eco Earth whichi s what I plan on using?
Thanks as alway guys and love the hlp from all

Paper towels will make it easier to spot things, so I would use those while in QT.

As for going from live to F/T, I would just try offering F/T. If she doesn't take after the second try (giving at week between attempts) then try pre-killed. If you heat the F/T enough you shouldn't have too much trouble. I've had to switch almost all of mine to F/T and I skipped the pre-killed step and never had problem, BUT every snake is different.

I would start with paper towels to begin with. It will be a lot easier to notice things like mites and weird or absent bowel movements. Switching a live eater over to F/T can be tried many different ways. If you want a smooth transition I would try to feed exactly what the breeder was offering for the first meals after a settling in period of 3-7 days. Next meal I would try the same type of rodent but offer pre-killed, then F/T for the third meal.

I have offered many different live eaters F/T meals their first time without any problems as well. It's up to you to how much effort you want to put forth. Congrats again, I better see a ton of pictures when she arrives!
