head scales

My pastel has what look like scars on the middle of her head and a newer spot where it looks like a scale came off during her last shed (kind of a bad shed, got stuck a bit) bad pic i know i circled the spots in question, anyone have problems like this before? http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...905_183929.jpg

My girls have some bad scars from their previous owners - scars are a common thing with BP's that eat live. Those scars look like she could have been bitten right between the eyes :(. Other than that I don't know what else it could be. Watch for infection and keep her enclosure clean. Next shed you should get her humidity higher.

Looks to me like some shed got stuck around scabbing nose-rub sores; those are the two spots where I most commonly see nose-rub sores. If I were you I would leave them alone (you don't want to end up pulling off scabs, and it will come off during the next shed anyways), but some soaking could be beneficial to keep the sores clean. Just keep an eye on them and they should heal.

Edit: They will heal as long as the nose rubbing stops. Sometimes the problem goes away on its own. Otherwise, you may want to make some adjustments to the cage.
