I don't know what to make of this. She has eggs...again?
At first I didn't think anything of her, I just thought she was being weird, and looked kind of chubby. But, I took her out last night for the first time in a long time when I had people over checking out the snakes. These were non snake people and they even made a comment about how fat she looked. I have only been feeding her 1 small rat a week because my rats are running behind.

She has been laying like this for a good month and I didn't think anything of it because she already laid this year. The other three females that laid have been on the cool side mostly.

And just for reference, here is her sister that laid about the same time. She's still pretty thin.

And this is the girl in question on eggs, I think she laid them in June, so if she had some left or was impacted she would be dead by now-or at least I would think so

I really don't know what to think. I was going to shut down my incubator until April-ish, but know I don't now if i should wait a bit just in case, or if this girl has something else weird going on. She's squishy like it's eggs, so I don't think she's impacted, but I don't know. I need some opinions. I'm kind of stressed about it, it looks like eggs to me, but I don't know how that could happen, and I really don't want to lose her if it's something else.

I had a girl who layed this year that I was thinking the same thing about, turned out she was just constipated. Give her a bath and you might be suprised at the load she drops and no it wasn't eggs. lol. Let us know either way though.

That's what I was wondering about. I haven't ever had that happen, so I wasn't sure what it would look like. I might have to try that and see what happens.

Have you palpated her? I would do so over a tub or trash can, because you just may palpate out something you don't want to! LOL:D

If a ball python can lay an egg with quads in it, I figure that anything can happen. It would be majorly weird, but in a cool way, if she did produce another clutch.

I've never heard of python species double clutching, but some colubrids will do it. My bet is she's been eating well and will use the restroom soon.

Try to help her pass a nice healthy poopy, lol, but if she doesn't then u can have ur vet do an ultrasound or an x-ray. My vet has something similar to an xray but is far better and so clear is amazing. I'm sorry I forgot what its called. But if anything is in there u can see exactly what it is

That happened to our boa.. She had gotten a bit constipated, so we had to give her a bath and we gently gave her a belly rub.. Then, she shot out the turd that was blocking the whole-and the rest shot out. And let me tell you.. It was the NASTIEST thing!!! :O
