I had to ask about my het gost
Hello all so at the advice of a friend who saw my BP I am posting some pics of my Het Ghost female. She was labeled as just a 100% het Ghost and nothing else but the bigger she grows and the more she sheds the lighter she is. Also she has some intense blushing, yellow sides and interesting pattern. I didn't think too much of it till my friend pointed it out. I always thought she was special but I just may have bias. Anyone with more experience than I think something else may be going on.? All opinions welcome. I think she is pretty no mater what and can't wait for little ones from her. I am perfectly happy her being het but the more I look at her verses a normal the more I think she is special. Opinions welcome and thank you in advance. Dam:spider het ghost Sire(s): Butter Ghost/Enchi Ghost Siblings: 1.1 Spider het ghosts.

So here are some shots of my Lolita (her heart shape on her head is rather precious :)) Included belly shots but she wouldn't stay still much Sept 9, 2011 PS she ate a rat pup last night and is a little self conscious

I am a believer that the a lot of recessives modify things even in het form. Some big breeders have commented on it before and I have seen it on many snakes.

She has alot of yellow in her! I think she has something going on! I just don't know what! You should buy her brother and breed them together and see what you get!

Thank you all much! I am so very lucky with her. I have to agree with Brian, westerngate and eel588 that recessive genes do tend to make something a little different happen in looks.

I have her sister actually the spider het ghost and boy is she bright.I love her yellow belly as well! I thought it would go away as she got older but her and her sisters yellow belly did not fade. The spider het ghost in pictures people think I messed with her colour but its simply not true. Definite he ghost influence. I think she is special one way or another. :)

From this breeder I got a whole ghost group. I have a butter het ghost male and a ghost female who are brother and sister. The same Butter Ghost sire was used in the pairing of Lolita(above) and spider het ghost female (Marilyn) (maybe making them half sibs). I have plans when she is big enough to throw her half brother at her and see what happens.

I really appreciate the responses. I will have get Miss Marilyn out for a photo shoot as well. The only thing that gets me about her is that crazy patterning. Her half sister Ghost has similar markings. Can't wait to make some babies. Makes me wonder if it was a two sired clutch and some enchi influence got in there.(The butter het ghost and ghost girl pairing was Dam: Het Ghost and Sire(s): Butter Ghost/Enchi Ghost) I love the puzzles BP's give us.
