    DIY Cat Tree Finally done!
I have been working on designing and planning a cat tree for my sunroom since we adopted two kittens last month. After changing my design several times from extremely complicated to what it is now (very simple). I started it last night and finished it this afternoon. The cats seem to like it so far. Now I just have to do the cat condo since I still have these 12" Quick Tube- concrete tubes rolling around my room.

I built it near the window because I want to build a cat run outside that will have access through the window. That way they can get in and out easily. Plus cats love to look out the windows.

    Here are some pictures.

Thanks! It is kinda hard to say exactly. I spent $6.50 on the twine for the scratching post. I used it all but I might add some more, I am not sure.

All the other wood came from Home Depot reject wood pile. Some were scrapes from my old projects. The 4x4 was $2, and back was $4, and then I got the carpet from a local carpet store as a scrap piece. They were asking $10 for it but I talked them down to $7. And about $6 for the carpet glue plus I used some staples I had.

So I guess about about $26-$30.

I like that it conserves space very well. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
