    Provent-a-mite question
I just rescued a snake and come to find out it has mites. So I order Provent-a-mite. Going to use it today but had a question about the substrate. I have the green reptile carpet in there. Can I use the PAM right on it???

Do I need to take out the carpet or leave it right in there when I spray?

As long as it's clean, Id leave it in and then follow the directions on the can.

Just make sure to use it sparingly. A little PAM goes a long way. Just a light coating on everything in the enclosure, then allow everything to FULLY dry before you put your snake back in. You can use the back of your hand to check the repti-carpet if you're not sure. I might even recommend taking it out and using paper towels and letting the repti-carpet dry separately since it will likely take longer than the rest of the tank to dry...
