    Hi all,

After a little advice, I would like add a few branches in my beardie viv just a little unhappy with the prices of bamboo root and branchs in pet shops, my parents have recently removed a large weeping willow tree and also a cherry tree of Wich there are some really nice branches and tree small tree stumps that I think would be ideal in the viv, can I use these in there would it be safe for my beardie?

If I can't use these are there any alternAtives to buying them from a pet shop?

    Thanks

    Dan

You should be able to use them. The only thing is you need to bake anything you take from outside in your oven to make sure to kill any parasites that can potentially harm your dragon. If possible I like to soak in diluted bleach mixture as well and then bake in oven at 350-400 degrees for 30-45 mins.. this will help kill off anything that might be on the piece of wood or rock...
