i just got my first bite feeding my male bp chompie. I need to give him a scope his aim was a little off.

They can be that way when they're excited about food. :)
That is why I have nice long hemostats. A couple of my snakes are good enough that I can just "tail" their rats to them, but most of mine are so greedy that they grab fast and without much thought as to where rat begins and human ends.

I agree with redneck crow. Sometimes my girl have good enough aim to feed them mice from the tail but for some reason my large male has horrible aim. I got a decent pair of tongs i use and i got them from the dollar store lol. cant beat that

I've only been bit by babies ( redtails, burms and bps ) but I think my leopard gecko bite hurt worse than any of them, lol.
