Anyone have cartilage piercings in their ears?
I was just curious to see if anyone else has the cartilage pierced in their ears? I have both of my ears pierced with captive bead rings.

I had both my Tragus and Inner conch done. I will be redoing my conch soon, as it hasn't closed fully so I need to get a new ring. They both hurt more than my Septum....the Conch more than everything...a crap ton of cart to go through...specially with a 12g needle.

Ouch! That does sound rather painful!

On my left ear I have 3 18g helixs, 10g conch and a 14g daith. On my right ear I have a 2g punched helix, 14g rook, a 14g antitragus and a 16g tragus. Soooo yes, I've got some cartilage pierced :D
I hate healing cartilage piercings because they seem to be sore forever.

I had my conch to a 6g, but took it out for a while. It was just at a 16g, I'd like to get back to maybe a 12-10g, but who knows...cart takes so long to heal.

Indeed! They do take forever to heal.

They suggest only one stretch every 6-12 months...that's why I hate cartilage...:P

I have been researching it like mad - planning to do a 16g helix (pinna) in one ear soon and the other when the first one heals. I don't plan on stretching the cartilege ones.
Gonna get my lobes done a second time soon also - I miss my 16g holes now that I'm stretched so I figure I'll just add on :P

I had mine pierced but I got a keloid that had to be surgically removed :tears:

I'll just stick with my nose ring and belly button! :P

agreed. I had an industrial and my tragus pierced, and both hurt far more than my septum. unfortunately both became wildly infected and I had to take them out after a few months. cartilage and I don't get along apparently. I've never had problems with anything but cartilage, but good luck with yours.
