    Shady scales?
Ever since Jackson shed, he's had a couple scales on his head that look a little dull. It doesn't look like stuck shed, and it's not a big spot, just a couple little scales. They're almost kinda... irredescent? Does anyone know what that might be? Thanks for any input!

Well, iridescent would be shiny and casting faint rainbow colors, but if they're just some dull faded looking scales then I'd say that's perfectly normal. Mine gets a few dull scales every once and awhile and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. Definitely nothing to worry about, and they should disappear with the next shed.

If they're iridescent, they're normal scales. All of my BPs have them on their heads at the moment, that's just how they are. If they're dull like the shiny layer has been taken off, that's because it has, technically. It may have been damaged or rubbed off with the old skin during the last shed. That's completely normal too, and happens from time to time. The scales should go back to normal in the next shed.

Either way, nothing to worry about :)
