anyone used an "incukit" for the fan/heat/thermastat
I saw this item advertized on the incubatorwarehouse.com and was curious if anyone has used one of these in their incubator? Looked like it may be a good product for a cabinet incubator. Heres the link

    Hi,

Does the fan part run independently of the heater part?

I'm not certain but I think you would want the fan runnign constantly to prevent heat differences but obviously you wouldn't want the heater running permanently unless it was properly regulated via a proportional thermostat.

I still haven't built a cooler incubator though so have no practical advice to offer only what I have read of others experiences.

yeah I see over priced crap :P

No way to adjust fan speed, heat comes from too small of a source and would potentially cause hot spots.
The heater stops the fan stops, not good.
Incubators should use proportional thermostats, that one is not.

I see lots of potential problems with that set up.

Why don't you get something like this for under $20?
