finally decided to get a burm. just got to figure out the cage design.
So after 2 years of waiting until I was ready to take on the responsibility of a big snake ive decided its time to get one. I just haven't figured out the design of the enclosure. I've read through god knows how many care sheets & I know the cage has to be atleast 72x36x36. I don't want to use glass or plexiglass so that if it breaks the snake won't be hurt, I was thinking about hardware cloth or something along those lines. I also want to incorporate a 2nd smaller door to feed it through so it doesn't associate the door opening with being fed. Any ideas?

well you'll need to maintain some sort of humidity so I would go with something pvc if you don't want to do glass or the like, with acrylic on the front, or build something out of wood.

Well I was going to build the whole enclosure out of wood with a window along the longest side of the cage.
