    New bunch of ASFs
Got a new bunch of ASFs in today to add to my breeding colony. 2 males, 2 females, 2 little ones. I was told one female may be pregnant which is great. I've been wondering why my current female hasnt gotten pregnant yet. She's huge compared to these guys but no pups yet. Also, one of these little ones I got in today looks a bit different. I'm not very well educated on the genetics of these guys but he doesnt look like a normal agouti to me. His nose, ears, and tail are pink instead of brown and his fur is almost a grey color. Maybe one of you who has more knowledge of their morphs can help me out with this little guy. Here are some pics :D

group shot- you can see the little pink ears in the back of the guy in question

The one in question looks like some of mine, but I don't have any that looks like the 3 of them in the 2nd group shot.

Your 'odd' ASF is called a cinnamon. :) It is caused by a dilution gene on top of the agouti gene, very common, but also very nice looking! :D

Ah thanks Rhasputin! I was thinking it was a dilution (I play around with rat genes and thought it may be something similar to the dilutes they can have). Do you know what the lighter red eyed ones are called? Someone told me they were called Apricot but I'm not sure.

Yep, cinnamon. Also the "pied" one is an argente.

Jessica is right the light one with red eyes is called an Argente. Apricot is a nickname for the colour, you may hear it a lot, also some people call them albino but this is VERY incorrect! :P

The argente in the photos is also a 'saddle variegated' marked ASF. The saddle gene causes the ASF to have a white head, and a white rump with a coloured 'saddle' in the middle. :)
