    ok, this is odd. I didn't notice this earlier today, but the female Pastel has a strange pink area on top of her head, like she developed without a scale there??[IMG]http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/...903_135405.jpg[/IMG]
    the seller didn't mention anything out of the ordinary and I just plain didn't notice (my fault). Does this look like something bad? Something that may cause trouble in the future, or just an oddity or abnormality? Please let me know what you think!!

    looks like a couple missing scales from a bad shed or maybe a rat bite - no biggie...

    so, they will always be missing? if they can't regenerate, is it likely to cause her to have difficulty shedding in that area?

    I agree, looks like it could be a rodent bite, or possibly the result of nose-rubbing (though that's not the usual spot you see nose rubs). The spot may look strange for a while, but the scales will reappear after a few sheds.

    yeh im no expert but it does look like a rodent bite, have u seen even a medium rats teeth? i mean up close and while he is breathing for his life, you be suprised how just how long and sharp them things are!
