Suggestions - Feeding Behaviour
So my female Pastel (1100g) has decided to make friends with rats rather than eat them - Going on 4 weeks now refusing live rats.
I have noticed a little bit of a change in behaviour in the past 4 weeks and since her last shed. She is seemingly more active and at time I see her wrapping her waterbowl which she never really did in the past.
During feeding she seems interested - looks like she is going to strike, but will shy away when the rat approaches her. She has always been a good feeder and typically will not refuse a meal. Husbandry is good, tub is clean, haven't handled her except for spot cleaning changing water etc...
Any suggestions? Is it that time of year?

It could be a totally normal around 1000g fast. Most females can hit this wall for a bit and then they go back to feeding.
Nope, not since I have had her. She was bagged with a smaller male in transport 3 months ago or so when I got her though.
Hoping it's just a quick fast and then back to pounding rats - was hoping this girl would have been up to size sooner than later.
